GPAA is the best thing recreational mining

First joined GPAA in 1981 in San Bernardino, CA when Buzzard held a gold show at the Orange Show Grounds. Spent many hours at GPAA claims over the years. Not so active anymore due to health, but I have been encouraging family to get involved. Showing my grandson how to pan using the gold bags I have received or bought over the years. I continue to keep my membership to support recreational gold mining. My son, who wasn't interested in gold mining has now changed his mind since seeing his son's interest in it. Hoping he will join soon so they both can enjoy the claims and the comradery.
