Gold Trails Events will be 4 days on each claim  
GPAA & LDMA Members only 

Summary  

Practical Prospecting involving the members in all facets of how I prospect and find gold.  
 
Day 1 - in field classroom prospecting, testing and sampling. Picking the right location based on highest returns.  

Day 2 -  Begin mining. Shifting members to all positions from trending – prepping material -  running material –  final cleanup.  

Day 3 – Following the trends allows us to not have to look for “Another spot”  but we will anyway. Members will be on the gold but is is always good to know the next spot.  

Day 4 – Metal detecting field training – If the area is viable for detecting, members can spend the remainder of the day detecting. If the area is not a nugget area, members return to the mining operation. Day closes with full reclamation of the land and final cleanups of all run material and the members split the gold close out the Gold Trails Event.

Fun & Educational

I thoroughly enjoyed my time learning, being challenged and making new friends. It's not a walk in the park to be given information and then walk out to a river or a hill side and asked to think and explain, but it's fun and I took away skills that will help me grow. I highly recommend attending and learning. Many thanks to Kevin for giving of his time and to the camp hosts, Emily and Blaine. A thoroughly entertaining experience! Oh, the road to I-Bar is something else and I'll be back!

Motivation and Education

The event was educational and motivational. Prospecting- where to find gold. Ounces per ton not a few flakes per pan. Gotta dig up a ton of trash to find ounces of gold. Thanks Kevin!

My first nugget!

I showed up on day 2 never having found a nugget yet. After much guidance from Kevin and just learning how to use my machine properly I found my first gold nugget! Such an exhilarating amazing experience I’ll never forget! Met some really cool people as well!

Best Event I have Attended

I want to extend a great Thank you to Kevin and staff involved. I basically attended a master class in prospecting and enjoyed it so much I stayed for a second event. The members that attended were all enthusiastic and super friendly. I will recommend this program to any member I meet and have already encouraged people to attend.
