Gold Trails Daily Schedule: What To Expect

The following is for 2 day events

Day 1 

9-10 am - Introductions and claim walk – Basic Geology – Seeing the ground over looking at it – Weather effects and how it moves gold - Obstacles and how they affect gold placement and concentrations. Find a location to start.

10:00- 12:30am Begin prospecting and learning how to trend from the gold found.

12:30-1:30 pm Lunch and review the morning.

1:30 – 4:00pm continue prospecting moving toward trending and getting away from specks in a pan to dollars per yard.

4:00pm – 5:00pm Final clean ups, choose areas for day 2 and close out the day.

Day 2

9:00-10:30 – Metal Detecting Training for those that are attending for that. Members that are splitting their day go back to mining at 10:30.

9:00- 12:00 Members not attending Detecting Training are back in their spots and mining.

12:30-1:30 pm Lunch and review the morning.

1:30 – 4:00pm continue prospecting.

4:00pm – 5:00pm Final clean ups.
