I just got back from Gold Skeye Seven attempt number one. Heat wave and conditions warranted prudence in driving primitive roads, so I stayed on County Road A040. Backup vehicle is a good idea with my 2×4 pickup to the claim. The claim road west didn’t look to be used much. To the north a little bit on A040 is a GPANM claim road also going west, by the fence. I am looking forward to meeting Kevin up there in the Fall.
My son in law and I will be there at easy money 6/5 around 10am. Looking forward to seeing you there
On Sunday May 28, 2023 I had the great time as the claim owner of He Comes On A White Horse & Horse Play in Douglas County to meet up with Kevin Hoagland and Chris and many other GPAA members who attended. It was fun meeting up with a great bunch and learning from the 40 plus years of experience that Kevin possesses. We all had a great time and gold was found in many locations on my claims as well as a very small arrowhead piece. Everyone learned about the flow of the rock formations, the original river layout to include the 2 different fault plate zones in relation to the claims, and everyone was welcome to come back anytime. When I shared that I obtained both of my claims from Ben Brieholz, Kevin shared his knowledge of Ben’s mining qualifications with everyone in attendance. Looking forward to meeting Kevin, Chris and all the members again. May gold fill your pans with memories and more. Michael Zilkoski.
I really hope I can catch up with you all either in Or or WA. I will look into my local GPAA . I’ve been “feverish” for thirty years but have not had anyone around that shares my inrterest. Well, I want to find like minds and see how it goes. I’m shy, kind of and I’m not big on crowds, but anyway hope to learn a thing or two, and meetb some good folks like me !
